There's need a terrible misunderstanding for centuries!

Your newly found Islamic knowledge could have saved the life of the girl in Kismayo whose brain raptured after being pelted with stones - for being raped! She came to the Islamic authority there and told them of the rape. She was convicted by default.

Typically, she would have also required four MALE witnesses - a gruesome task in societies where women have no rights.

But I'm guessing you're more concerned with saying "exposed yourself" than that, right? :-)

And, I never said I'm an "expert" on Islam per se, rather, that I have Islamic knowledge due to my upbringing in Islam. Also, note that Hadiths sometimes contradict the themselves and even the Quran. Hadiths are supplemental to the Quran due to the Quran's ambiguity. If the Quran were clear and consistent, there'd be no need for hadiths.

And that brings me to my initial point about Islam not being from Allah or anywhere else but it being the work of desert dwellers in Arabia. The contradictions and inconsistencies are simply too vast.

Allah needs to work on his presentation skills, unti then, this "Google" you keep refering to has more consistency than Allah does. And as for me, bringing these questions to light is satisfactory.Ciyaalka Xaafaddahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07506601413957311974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048498988170485489.post-32408331393213437972010-02-01T16:07:49.182-08:002010-02-01T16:07:49.182-08:00"This is stipulated in a number of Hadiths ho..."This is stipulated in a number of Hadiths however, where adulterers are said to be flogged"
Woops again, I meant stoned here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048498988170485489.post-17387098871761816322010-02-01T16:01:27.750-08:002010-02-01T16:01:27.750-08:00Woops I meant Surat NurWoops I meant Surat NurPeggy Mitchellhttp://crookedribs.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048498988170485489.post-9625289128186255072010-02-01T16:00:11.763-08:002010-02-01T16:00:11.763-08:00"In Islam, the raped woman is punished to dea..."In Islam, the raped woman is punished to death by stoning and it says so in the Quran"

You've exposed yourself mate, you realise that stoning fornicators/adulterers is not mentioned in the Quran right?

In Surat Nisa the Quran stipulates that fornicators be flogged 100 times, no where in the Quran is stoning mentioned in this regard. This is stipulated in a number of Hadiths however, where adulterers are said to be flogged, it is a source of debate however if stoning is permissible at all due to the sentiments of Surat Nisa.
Embarrassing, didn't you say you were an expert on Islam?, why don't you ask Shaikh Google for proof that the Quran calls for stoning.Peggy Mitchellhttp://crookedribs.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048498988170485489.post-70375252717681404872010-01-31T10:10:31.008-08:002010-01-31T10:10:31.008-08:00Once again you've managed to embarrass yoursel...Once again you've managed to embarrass yourself. Perhaps you should stop commenting and instead become familiar with the "religion" you were brought up in. In Islam, the raped woman is punished to death by stoning and it says so in the Quran - unless each Islamic/Sharia ruled corner of the world is reading something other than the Quran - or you'd want to refer to the typical Islamist apologists' line of "it's not the religion, it's the people who don't fully understand it." Does anybody ever fully understand this insanely complex religion at all? Are the four Islamist groups warring in Mogadishu reading the Bible or the Torah and not the Quran?

I am not tarnishing Islam. Islam is well capable of that all on its own and does so on daily basis by killings, beheadings, oppression, suicide, and the like. I simply tell the truth, the very same truth that I was brought up with in Islam. You're like most Islamists, you cannot fathom Islam having any flaws, despite the daily reminders. You reason emotionally and not logically. In that regard, you should probably not visit a blog like this. Not to be a condescending jerk or anything like that.Ciyaalka Xaafaddahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07506601413957311974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048498988170485489.post-57608845319794471982010-01-31T09:32:31.492-08:002010-01-31T09:32:31.492-08:00The Hijaab is to prevent harassment and the likeli...The Hijaab is to prevent harassment and the likelihood of Zina, not rape, that would mean the Islam lays blame of rape on women, which is false (obviously something you would claim ecause you are on a mission to tarnish Islam).

However, the Wahhabi distortion of Islam has led to many, like al-Shabaab and the Taliban, to view women themselves as obscene, a mindset that ultimately leads to saqajaanimo.Qumaayohttp://crookedribs.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7048498988170485489.post-60898032217744061522010-01-30T19:34:52.720-08:002010-01-30T19:34:52.720-08:00You're right. The segregation of the sexes is ...You're right. The segregation of the sexes is unhealthy for society. It indicates that religions are man made. Obviously God wouldn't create the sexes just to have them segregated and have one brutally oppress the other.

Wahabbis strictly enforce rules requiring females to cover completely so that curves won't show and their figure/shape doesn't appear to the men. They claim that it is in the Quran and that the intent of the Quran is to prevent rape. It results prevalent homosexuality in Wahabbi ruled areas. Oddly enough, they punish alleged homosexuals with death.

In almost all of the suicide attacks that I have been following for some time, the underlying issue that causes many young men (nearly all suicide bombers are young men) to commit these acts is the desire for sex. They are led to beleive that once they're blown to peices, a light will shine from above and will put their pieces back together, after which, they'll be taken straight to heaven where they're rewarded by Allah with 72 virgin Arab women called Xuural Cayn.

A number of the Shabab youth killed in Mogadishu had notes in their pockets detailing how the Xuural Cayn were circling above the city awaiting for them to join in heaven once they died. The reward is greater if they blew themselves up. One Shabab kid was captured wounded and demanded that the captors kill him. He was adamant. It seems to be quite widespread in the region in a whole, but is completely denied as actually being homosexuality.
One of my uncles worked in Saudi for a year when he was young and also reported high levels of homosexuality there.
